About Our Business
The Ft. Thomas Animal Hospital first opened in
October 1990 by Dr. Jean Pritchard at it's
present location at 1133 S. Ft Thomas Ave.
Dr. Pritchard grew up in the City of Ft. Thomas
and when it was time to open
up her practiceshe wanted to
keep in Ft. Thomas.
Over the years as the practice
grew bigger Dr. William Allen
Turner joined the practice
in March 1995. Two years ago
Dr. Mona Vickery joined the
practice as a part time veterinarian.
We currently have about fifteen staff emplyees
to take care of all of your pet's medical needs.
As our practice has grown, we found that our building had to grow
to. In 2000 we had added a back wing to the building which
included new offices for both doctors, 2 new storage rooms, an
isolation room for dogs and cats that may have contagious
diseases, a conference room and a large food room.
This is our reception area.
(note: This is where our bird Barney
stays and "observes" you and your
pets as they come in!!!)
This is one of our three exam rooms.
Our lab area where we run blood
work, urinalysis, fecal and other
tests. This is also where we keep
our prescriptions and over
counter prescriptions for you pet.
Our treatment area. In this area
we can keep an watch on your
pet before and after surgery,
when it is sick or just when it
needs to be observed. We
also can do minor procedures
in this area such as dentals,
shave downs, ear cleaning and
bandaging.
